    Overlooking the beach, the 2-star Pousada Viva Mar Saquarema hotel features a sunbathing terrace and an outdoor pool area. This Saquarema inn lies in the Barra Nova district of Saquarema, within 10 minutes' drive of such cultural sights as Museu de Conhecimentos Gerais de Jacone Museum.

    The property is located about a 10-minute ride from Saquarema Lagoon and a stroll from the large Praia de Barra Nova Beach. Museu do Sambaqui da Beirada Open Air Museum is also located about a 10-minute ride from the Pousada Viva Mar Saquarema. For those travelling from afar, Cabo Frio International airport is 60 minutes' drive away.
